Cinnamon Cereal Whipped Coffee | Dalgona Coffee | 6 Ingredients | Oat Milk

Since it was recently the one year anniversary of the pandemic (lol) I was reminiscing on quarantine food trends. Some of my favorite food trends that were going around were banana bread, baking any kind of bread, pancake cereal and many more. One trend that I really enjoyed making was the Dalgona Iced Coffee trend. I thought I would spice it up a bit (no pun intended) and add in some cinnamon and cinnamon cereal! The best thing about this recipe is you can buy ALL ingredients from Trader Joe's! (well the sixth ingredient is hot water and you won't be able to get that there lol) I hope you enjoy!

Above are half of the ingredients!

Ingredients:

  • Oat Milk

  • Cinnamon Squares from Trader Joe's

  • Ground Cinnamon

  • Instant Coffee from Trader Joe's

  • Coconut Sugar (now I am not sure that all Trader Joe's stock this item- if you cannot find at your location, then you can grab it from Target or whole foods) (You can also just substitute for regular sugar!)

  • Hot Water

Tips for Success:

  • For the Milk

    • You will need a blender- you will be blending together the Oat Milk, Cinnamon Squares, and Ground Cinnamon until smooth. Any blender will work for this since there is nothing too thick to blend!

  • For the whipped coffee-

    • Make sure you water is hot- I have a automatic water heater and I heat it to 185 degrees F.

    • I suggest using an automatic hand mixer or standing mixer because this will cut your time by a lot! Whisking this by hand will take... years....

    • Make sure to whisk until peaks start to form.

  • For best results- make sure to mix the whipped coffee and milk together before you indulge! :)
