Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Bites



SMOKED SALMON GIVES ME LIFE. For some reason, every time I eat smoked salmon it automatically has me romanticizing my life. It brings me straight to Europe eating lox on toast, smoked salmon with cheeses for breakfast, and just an all around better version of my actual life. I used the super accessible frozen pepperidge farm puff pastry to make this easy smoked salmon appetizer! You know we are all about accessible ingredients!This is by far the best smoked salmon recipe. This makes the perfect finger foods for a party. A killer appetizer for Thanksgiving. A thoughtless (but impressive) easy Christmas appetizer. And how I am going to use it right now- the best Mother's Day recipe for the International Brunch we are hosting for my mom this year!

Ingredient Breakdown for Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Bites

  • Frozen Puff Pastry

    • I used Pepperidge Farm puff pastry! Find it in the Freezer section. Trader Joe's also has some BOMB all butter puff pastry! See below for more recipes using puff pastry!

  • Whipped Cream Cheese

    • Whipped cream cheese is THE move for this recipe. You don't have to wait for it to come to room temperature for it to be spreadable!

  • Smoked Salmon

  • Chives

  • Egg (for egg wash)




 

This recipe only uses one sheet of puff pastry. If you are looking for more recipes that use the other sheet of puff pastry (the box usually comes with two sheets!) try these recipes!
